We had the opportunity to talk to Adam Back, the man who invented the technology that lead to the creation of Bitcoin, and the CEO of Blockstream. Many say his contributions to the world are worthy of the Nobel Prize, but we believe they’re worthy of much more.
Adam Back is an early pioneer of cryptography, he invented what would come to be known as Proof-of-Work; the fundamental innovation of Bitcoin that makes it possible to create digital scarcity on a decentralised, self-organising network: Bitcoin. He laid the technological underpinning necessary for Bitcoin’s invention, so we asked him some questions about his thought process while all this was unfolding, as well as his thoughts on the current state of Bitcoin.
